Primary
Pope John XXIII primary section has twelve classrooms with three divisions in each standard. The total number of students in the primary section is 488 out of which 251 are boys and 237 are girls.

Library

The Primary section library is being utilized for std I and std IV.

The purpose of the school library is to provide a wide range of books and multimedia resources to support teaching and learning throughout the key stages and a reading and information culture that promotes on dependent motivated readers and learners for life. The library is a place where curiosity and creativity are encouraged.

Regular periods are given as part of our school’s learning programme to enrich students reading and build their confidence as library users. Our aim is to give every student and teacher the opportunity to learn, to enjoy reading and to create new knowledge and understanding. Children are given fun activities, games that also provide an appreciation for reading. Reading games, interactive slide games, CDs, DVDs, based on Animal Encyclopedia, Moral stories, Group reading and narrating short stories.

Special English Reader classes are taken based on the English text, to promote their accuracy, accent and pronunciation of words sentences and increases their vocabulary.

The children also maintain a story book of their own
